The APOSTOLIC Church of God is a "Media Church" a group of believers around the globe who adhere to the teachings and beliefs of the early Apostolic church as found in the scriptures. 

 

Our pulpit is based in our weekly telecast, radio broadcast, our books, pamphlets, and our global internet presence. At this time we are a loose network of believers who congregate around the truths of the Apostolic church and strive to study Gods Word as the Bereans did and find ourselves pleasing to our creator, the almighty Yahweh (Jehovah).

 

This  church was founded in the heart of Rev. Shane Vaughn in the year of  2013 as God placed within him a desire to find the balance of scripture and teach that balance around the world. As he travelled to preach at various churches and conferences many people conveyed an earnest desire to learn more of these glorious truths and in an effort to serve that group of studious believers The Apostolic Church of God was founded as an organization under the auspices and the umbrella of Bro. Vaughns personal ministry "Overcomers International". Many of our teachings are unique into todays church but were common in the early Apostolic church, the church of the Apostles. It is our earnest desire to help restore "Original Christianity"

 

What do we mean by that statement? Throughout the past 2,000 years the church has systematically strayed from her origins and many extremes were reached by various sects of the church. Paganism and non scriptural ideas found their way into Gods church and began infecting and thereby weaking the truths that this mighty church was built upon; primarily the authority of scriptures. Here at the ACOG we strive to restore these vital truths which you will find in "Our Doctrines" and in our "Articles of Faith"

 

 

In an attempt to restore balance to Gods church we spend much time on clarification of various teachings and doctrines. God hates false doctrine! Even though the modern church no longer sees the necessity of correct doctrine God is very focused on His church walking in correct understanding of the mysteries of God. Again, God hates bad doctrine or teaching and so should every true child of God.

 

Rev 2:15 - So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
